Dr. Edward Johnson started his career in the Brentwood District as assistant principal for Brentwood High School and Brentwood Middle School during the 2005-2006 school year before becoming the assistant principal and athletic director for the high school in 2006. He served in that dual role for eight years before becoming principal of Brentwood High School.
Dr. Johnson earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Missouri Baptist University before turning to education as his career where is now in his 20th year of service to the field. He taught PE and coached football and basketball for nine years at Ladue Horton Watkins High School prior to coming to Brentwood in 2005. He earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood University and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. Dr. Johnson’s wife Dr. Tiffany Johnson is also in administration where she is currently serving as associate head principal at Ladue Middle School. He and his wife really enjoy spending all of their free time with their son Tristen.
