All About Mrs. Palubiak
Hello, my name is Dana Palubiak, and although it’s hard for me to believe, I have been teaching for 13 years. I received an undergraduate degree in special education from Fontbonne University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University. I taught special education for three years and then transferred into the regular classroom. This is my 5th year teaching at McGrath, but my 10th year teaching third grade. I am thrilled to be part of this community of enthusiastic learners at McGrath. I love teaching third graders. Their enthusiasm for learning is contagious and this makes my job fun!
I currently live in the Richmond Heights along with my husband, twin boys, and two Weimaraner dogs, Ellie and Coco. For fun, I can often be found roaming the streets of my neighborhood with a double stroller and two dogs. If you’re ever driving through Richmond Heights and see this sight, pull over and say hi! Thank goodness for the dogs because they help pull us up the hilly streets.
