Employment Opportunity Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply for a position? Brentwood School District posts available positions on and on our website. We only accept applications for open/posted positions. Positions remain open until the close date. The close date is listed in the posting. Some positions do not have a close date. For these positions,we will begin interviewing once a sufficient number of applications/resumes have been received. Applicants should allow sufficient time to complete the application.  You will need to submit a separate application for each position you are interested in applying for. Do I have to complete the online application or can I just submit my resume? We require applicants to complete the online application rather than submitting a resume, as this is what we will be assessing your knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job you are applying for.  Applicants who do not complete the application in its entirety will not be considered for the position for which they are applying.  Applicants should allow sufficient time to complete the online application.  What if I have questions about a posting? Unfortunately, we are not able to accept calls concerning postings. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act ADA), if you have a disability that limits you from completing the application online and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with Brentwood School District, please call 314-962-4507 x. 6016. For TDD support, please use 711 Telecommunication Relay Service. Should I contact the principal or hiring manager if I have questions about a position? No.  Please do not contact managers or principals concerning openings.
How do I know if you have received my application? All applicants will be notified by email advising them of the status of their application. Candidates we are interested in interviewing will be contacted by phone or email, shortly after the position has closed. Online Application assistance Services to help with application process can be located at your local library or the urban league in the form of free resume, computer training, and online application training classes.
