Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year will be available online beginning Sunday, March 1, 2026. The Brentwood School District offers free full-day kindergarten at both Mark Twain and McGrath elementary schools.

In accordance with Missouri Senate Bill No. 572, children must be 5 years old before Aug. 1 to attend kindergarten. Students may only be registered by a parent or court-appointed legal guardian. If you need help determining your student's school, please call 314-962-4507.

Early registration is essential for planning and staffing, as it helps the district determine class sizes, allocate resources and ensure a smooth transition for incoming students. Families are encouraged to complete the process as soon as possible to assist with these preparations and ensure their child is ready for kindergarten on the first day of school.

Online Registration Process

All new kindergarten students must register online via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. It is important to complete the entire online registration process. Incomplete registrations will not be processed. You will receive an email confirmation once your registration has been successfully submitted and processed.

To register a new kindergarten student, we ask that you provide the following documentation to complete the process:

• One document from List A
• One document from List B
• Up-to-date immunization records (verified by the school nurse for state compliance)
• Birth certificate
