Elementary Facilities Update
We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your collaboration and support as we work to upgrade our elementary and early childhood facilities to provide a safe, accessible, and modern learning environment for our students. These improvements will help benefit the entire Brentwood community for generations to come!
Over the past several months, we have worked with stakeholders throughout the community to provide information and gather feedback through neighborhood meetings, open houses, presentations, and more. Next week, early sitework will begin on McGrath’s campus. Please know that we are committed to working in partnership with you throughout the life of the construction project. If you ever have any questions, we will be happy to assist you.
As construction begins, please know all construction activities will be limited to hours that comply with the City of Brentwood. You will begin to notice trucks entering and exiting the McGrath campus. Unlike the Middle/High School project, there will be more parking for construction workers on the McGrath campus. The site will be organized to provide parking within the campus itself. Additionally, the district parking spaces along High School Drive will be reserved for construction parking, limiting the need for workers to park on streets in the community.
On August 31st, we will host a Facilities and Construction Update for our community. The event will be livestreamed to our YouTube channel at bit.ly/bsdyoutube at 6:00 PM. We hope you will mark your calendars to attend this event so we can continue to keep you updated about the project. Timely news and updates can be found by visiting:

These facilities upgrades mark a pivotal moment for our students and community. The improvements will provide a safe environment with updated classrooms and learning spaces to help keep our students competitive. Further, the construction will make our buildings more ADA accessible and will make it easier on our students and families with disabilities to navigate and utilize our space. These important changes would not be possible without our community’s support and we are grateful for your support.
