Sept. 20, 2022

In compliance with Missouri law, a hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Brentwood School District Administrative Office Conference Center (1201 Hanley Industrial Ct.) at which time citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed to be set by the Brentwood School District.

The tax rates are set to produce the revenues that the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022 shows to be required from the property tax. Each tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue permitted by the current assessed valuation by property classification. The result is multiplied by 100 so the tax rate will be expressed in cents per $100 valuation.

Please review the 2022 Tax Rate Hearing Notice for a detailed breakdown of the proposed tax rates. If you need assistance reading this document, please contact Matthew Norrid, chief financial officer, at 314-962-4507 or mnorrid@brentwoodmoschools.org.
