Communicating Your Questions or Concerns
The Brentwood School District is committed to keeping the lines of communication open for members of our school community to ask questions, share concerns or give praise. Your feedback is an essential part of our continuous improvement efforts, and we want every member of our school community to feel heard and supported when they have questions or concerns.
We have created some simple steps to ensure communication is easy, consistent and effective whenever there is a question or concern. To make the process as smooth as possible, we respectfully ask that you follow these steps:
- For classroom questions or concerns, please contact your teacher or school counselor.
- Examples include individual student grades and classroom expectations.
- If your classroom question or concern is not resolved, please contact your school administrator.
- For school questions or concerns, please contact your school administrator.
- Examples include individual student discipline and school procedures.
- If your school question or concern is not resolved, please contact the superintendent’s office.
- For district questions or concerns, please contact the superintendent’s office.
- Examples include state assessment requirements and open records requests.
- The superintendent may work with school and district administrators to help answer your questions or address your concerns.
- If your district question or concern is not resolved, please contact the Board of Education.
- For school board questions or concerns, please contact the Board of Education president.
- Examples include district policies and districtwide initiatives.
- Board members may work with school and district administrators to help answer your questions or address your concerns.
The quickest and most effective way to resolve a question or concern is to address them at the most direct level. If you are unsure about where to begin, please send an email to questions@brentwoodmoschools.org and we will make sure the appropriate contact person receives your message.
We also ask that you assume positive intentions and be patient. Certain issues cannot be resolved immediately, but our team will work as quickly as possible to help answer your questions or address your concerns. This collaborative approach allows us to work together with all stakeholder groups in support of student learning, growth and achievement in our schools. Together, we can ensure high-quality educational opportunities for all students.
