28 Days of Black-Owned Businesses

Each day this month, BHS math teacher Dr. Katilynn Jansen is supporting a local, Black-owned business in celebration of Black History Month and the important contributions of African Americans on our society.

BHS Hallway Display

The BHS Math Department decorated their hallway with famous African Americans along with words of inspiration. 

Coretta Scott King Award

The American Library Association established the award in 1969 to commemorate the work of Coretta Scott King and her late husband,
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for their determined work for  peace and
world brotherhood.
