Brentwood Virtual Academy
When schools are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our traditional, in-person students will transition to virtual learning in the Brentwood Virtual Academy. If you wish to keep your child enrolled in virtual learning regardless of whether or not schools are open, you will need to explore the full-time distance learning program.
Families should be prepared to adapt to learning from home in the event a class, school, or the district needs to close for an extended period of time. Instructions about how online learning will take place in the event of school closures will be shared by buildings in the event of a closure, but families should be familiar with accessing the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). You can learn more about Canvas here. Consistent practice with Canvas will help families during a traditional school year and will be beneficial in the event of any school closure.
