Today, we join schools and communities across the country in celebrating College Colors Day — an opportunity to show our school spirit while highlighting the many possibilities available to students after high school.

At Brentwood, preparing students for the future is a team effort. Our teachers, support staff and administrators throughout the district help students explore their interests, discover new opportunities and build pathways toward their postsecondary goals.

We see the impact of that support in the success of our students. Since 2020, Brentwood graduates have earned more than $17 million in scholarships and have been accepted to more than 200 colleges and universities nationwide. Nearly 80% of the Class of 2026 enrolled in postsecondary programs, and our partnerships with UMSL, Lindenwood and STLCC provide students access to 21 college credit courses.

As we wear our college colors today, we celebrate the colleges, universities and programs that have shaped members of our community. More importantly, we recognize the people who help our students identify what excites them, see what is possible and take meaningful steps toward their futures.

Thank you to everyone who encourages, guides and supports our students as they ignite their passion, define their purpose and explore their own pathways for success.
