In 2023, the Brentwood School District launched a comprehensive strategic planning process to guide our work over the next five years. Developed in partnership with Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates, the plan reflects the voices of our students, staff, families and community members. Through focus groups, an in-person forum and an online survey, Brentwood gathered meaningful input from stakeholders across the district.
Following this engagement phase, a Strategic Plan Steering Committee—made up of representatives from across our school community—met for two full-day workshops to review the feedback and define the path forward. Their work identified district strengths and areas for growth, ultimately shaping a bold vision for the future.
On Jan. 9, 2024, the Brentwood School District Board of Education formally approved the new strategic plan, including a refreshed vision, mission and values, along with four priority areas and measurable objectives.
